I love snapping photos. People may find it annoying sometimes, but it makes me feel good when I can capture a moment worth remembering. Even though sometimes it sucks, I am still grateful to be here. Every now and then I will wonder, "what if I went somewhere else?" or "what if I tried pursuing something else?" But we truly do have wonderful programs made for people who are seriously looking for a career-oriented school. I love being with people who have the same priorities, goals, and mindset as me. You guys understand me in ways my other friends or schoolmates back home couldn't. Feels good man.

Project 365: Day 1

Tonight our school held a screening of the movie Hiding, hosted by a non-profit organization, LiNK (Liberty in North Korea). Basically, the movie explores the stories of 5 North Korean refugees who have made their way to China. There are hundreds and thousands of people like them hiding in China right now because life was just too unbearable back home. Even if it means leaving family behind, the starvation, poverty, and lack of freedom have driven these refugees to embark on a dangerous journey. Once they make it to China, if caught by the police, a refugee will be sent back to North Korea with serious consequences. Can you imagine living everyday in fear? To think that you have to travel from North Korea to China, and then from China into another Southeast Asian country for just a chance to experience freedom.

Please pray for the refugees and LiNK.
